Why does this exist?
People will pay to be #1 at anything. So we made the most pointless #1 there is, and sent half the money somewhere useful.
Every takeover splits 50/50. Half goes to permanent carbon removal through Stripe Climate. The rest pays the card fees, the refunds and the hosting, and the person who has to moderate a list of strangers called Gary.
Why not 100%? Because then this would stop existing, and so would the carbon removal.
You still get nothing. The atmosphere gets something.
